I interviewed with a director, who invited me to a second interview. The director initially cancelled that interview due to a scheduling conflict and later rearranged it for a date close to Christmas which was problematic for me due to commitment at work during this time. I had to decline that date due to work commitments, as the interview was in person in Shoreditch and required 3 hours of my time (travel + interview) . The second stage also included a presentation, which I completed, spending around five hours on research and preparation. I was told the interview would be rearranged, but in January, I was informed that the role had been filled. The interview process was poorly handled, and the experience raised concerns about communication and respect for candidates’ time.
