Like many other comments have suggested, the entire process felt so unorganized. I received an email from one of their recruiters asking me to fill out a set of questions. Once I sent those in, I got a request for an interview a few days later but was only offered one day/time. When I responded with my availability, I didn't hear anything back for 2 or 3 days. I followed up with another email and then we were able to set up an interview for the following day. The interview itself was totally fine. The person I met with was very kind and easy to talk to. The only thing that stuck out to me was that there were no questions about my previous job experience or qualifications, or why I was interested. I was told there would be two more rounds and they were looking to hire someone quickly (within 2 weeks). When I didn't hear anything back after a week, I followed up with the same recruiter just asking for updates on next steps. It's been a few days and I never got a response to that email. It's incredibly frustrating and I'd rather receive a generic 'sorry, we've gone with another candidate' than just never hear anything at all. Up until this point, it's felt pretty disrespectful of my time and feels like a pointed indicator of maybe what it's like to work for the organization.

Ridiculously long and complicated interview process, which included a project that took many hours to complete. Trevor is very concerned with cultural fit, so apparently even if you have the required (and more) experience, if you don't fit culturally, they won't be interested. The interview process is most likely indicative of their complicated culture. I assume if you're a person who likes to get work done in a timely manner, you would not like working for The Trevor Project. I started interviewing in April and didn't even get through the whole process when I was rejected in June.
