The process itself was not the problem, it was pretty standard - initial call, task, follow-up interview. Slight red flags when I was asked where I wanted my career to progress to and when I answered was told “that isn’t this role and it won’t develop into that”. Even bigger red flags when, after making it to final stage, I asked for feedback and was told it was company policy not to give it, ever. This is not indicative of a good work culture in my opinion.
