There was a DS/Algo "leetcode" style question, a terrible terribly useless "frontend" evaluation which used JS to animate (rather than a pure CSS animation or animation component from a framework), and a test over basic SQL joins.

I felt that the interviewers on the technical screen did not review my background from my resume or from the recruiter's phone screen. They tested me on a "leetcode" style interview and proposed zero relevant challenges based on my experience. Based on questions I put forth, the engineering organization as a whole seems haphazard. Just a feature shop without good processes in place for safe and confident code delivery. And the interview gatekeepers are not testing using relevant questions. Figuring out the "trick" to a leetcode style problem, on the spot with time constraints, is a severely limiting set of criteria. I think they will end up building an organization with great leetcoders and miss out on people with real world experience building reliable software.
