Three interviews, recruiter, hiring manager and the hiring manager's supervisor. All of the interviews were positive especially with the hiring manager's supervisor. My background and credentials were a spot on match with the Job Description. I followed up with the recruiter two times after the final interview then received the generic email "we decided to hire someone with more experience." Really? Then why did this job get reposted several times after you hired someone with "more experience." The reposting wasn't a new job, it was the same job because I tried re-applying to see what would happen then a notification popped up that I had already applied for the role. What a load of rubbish and the whole process was nothing more than a colossal time wasting game. At least I dodged what was most likely going to be a lousy job so I think in the end I made out much much better after accepting a job with a different company. And in my new role I have influence over purchasing which means we will not be buying products and services from this company!

The interview took place over 2 rounds with 2 panels. First round with hiring manager and with the local HR. After passing the first round, the second round will be with the functional VP and division HR director. Typical scenario questions.
