Entrevista
The overall interview process was chaotic and unprofessional. I had an initial 15 minute call with an employee, followed by another 30 minute call with another employee. Both of those calls were generic interviews. For the next round, I met in person at their warehouse. I was told to ask for a specific employee upon arrival. When I asked for this individual, I received a response that they were not in the office that day. I wasn't provided any information about who I'd be interviewing with or what their roles with the company were. Finally I was escorted back to a room to meet in person with one individual while another was virtual. The in person interviewer told me he hadn't reviewed my resume prior and didn't know much about the role for which I was interviewing. While this experience was chaotic, the interview went well and I moved on to the final round. This involved a case study with little direction or key details (ex. value of the box items vs. the price of the box). I was told it should take roughly two hours to complete the project. Based on the vague background information and the data set provided, the project took much longer that 2 hours. It was an extensive business overview, assorting, pricing and costing exercise. There were details about the business that could have been shared to make the project clearer and more appropriate to what they were looking for. The final interview was 2 hours long and included a presentation of the case study. The interviewer I had was quite unprofessional swearing the entire time and interrupting me as I presented to ask questions, which were answered previously. I was told I would hear back within a few days, but it took over a week and I only heard back after reaching out directly.
Overall, I had hesitations and saw red flags through the entire process and would not have accepted an offer from the company.
