Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Thrivent em mar. de 2023

I was disappointed with the outcome. They told me during the interview they wanted to move forward with the next steps and then the next morning I got an automated email stating that they weren't moving forward. I felt it was unprofessional to tell me one thing and do the other and then not have the respect to give me a call or even personalized email.

I initially had messaged the hiring managers, manager and she really liked me so she referred me to the hiring manager. We’ve had 2 conversations, one on the phone and one via teams, I believe it went well and went as far as “you’re a great candidate for this role! And your resume looks awesome” I even asked the question what are things I should change/add on my resume all he said was “just add your phone number and it’s good!” I was later moved on to the next step of the interview process and met with a Senior Sourcer, we had a great conversation and went as far as “hopefully, I’ll be working with you soon!” Probably after a couple of days, I messaged the hiring manager via LinkedIn to be proactive, he read my message and about an hour later I get an email that I didn’t get the position. So I messaged again and thanked him for his time and even asked if he had any pointers on interviewing and nothing. He read my message and completely ghosted me. As a Recruiting professional who has been laid off, they’re hiring/interview process sucks, don’t give people high hopes and then leave them out of the dust and not give a reason why especially because I thought I was building a solid connection with the hiring manager. Do better and be better.
