Phone screen with TIcketmaster HR person from California 30 days after online application. Quick call. No crazy questions. Discussed acceptable salary range on this call. Seemed most concerned about finding someone to fit in approved salary range at this point, which was on the low end for the requested experience.
Face to face with 2 company employees in the office for 2 hours. They wanted me to walk them through every job I ever had so they could "see if I would fit in".
As I talked, they jumped in with questions her and there. This is a small, but successful, company acquired by a larger company. Cultural fit into a small startup environment seemed to be the most important thing for these interviewers vs. understanding how to deal in a large company bureaucracy.
At the closing, I had to interject to ask if I were able to ask any questions. They did not seem to have intended to include my questions to them as part of this 2 hour session.
No contact from the company after the face to face. I decided not to pursue any feedback from their HR.
