The interview process was pretty fast, their HR manager called me one week after I applied for the position on their career site and scheduled me for 1:1 in-person interview with HR manager and 1:4 panel interview, it took about 1 hr and 30 min. in total. They have a gorgeous office space (very upscale) and everyone was extremely nice and polite. The 1:1 interview with HR was very easy but the 1:4 panel one was rough. They asked me a few questions about my hard skill set and then asked me a series of loaded questions about my managerial skills – that was hard! They even presented a simulated situation and asked me what steps/actions I would take to resolve the conflict. The hardest question was “if one of you under staff underperforms but the person is someone who has been working for the company for a long time so he/she knows the system very well and owns a great network relationship with other divisions, then what would you do?” I was very confused when I got that question because I could not understand its scope. Later on I learned that the company is going through some HR trouble between OLD and NEW employees. What I heard was that some good OLD employees left the company because they did not get along with the NEW manager employees. So they would value your managerial perspectives for the OLD employees. All the interviewers were the OLD members.
