The interview process was focused solely on algorithmic challenges. Although the interviewer was preoccupied with other tasks, they provided a complex problem that required a deep understanding of data structures and advanced problem-solving skills. The problem given was akin to those tagged as 'hard' on LeetCode, particularly associated with the types of questions one might expect from a TikTok technical interview. Despite the interviewer's busy schedule, they were attentive during the discussion of my solution approach.
Phone screen where the recruiter asked questions about my background, why I'm interested in TikTok etc. Also asked a question about a technical project I've worked on in a team.

There was an OA and then 2 rounds of interviews afterwards. 1st round was technical with LC med and basic CS concepts, 2nd round was behavioral questions with hiring manager.
