      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Times Innovative Media (Bombaim) em dez. de 2019

      Entrevista

      When people hear the word "Times", they know they can look up to the company. Over the years, the brand has instilled trust, credibility which is why any and every sub-brand under the name of Times is looked at with pure respect. Keeping this in mind, when I got a call from Times OOH, I took it up. I had a brief chat with a young lady from their recruitment team who told me that she will schedule a meeting with my prospective reporting manager and gave me a date. With no consideration of the fact that the candidate has a full-time job to attend, I received no confirmation on mail for the interview, although there was a verbal and text confirmation. Upon continuously following up, I got to know that it has been rescheduled. Well, we are all humans and Times is a reputable organization, so I let it slip away. After the final round of the interview, I kept reaching out to the lady from HR to at least inform on the status of my candidature. Without hearing from her for weeks, I assumed that my candidature has been dropped. Something funnier happened weeks later. I got an email from her for another opening. And once again, just to see if this company is bogus, I applied. I wanted to prove myself wrong that the company's recruitment system is not flawed. But as I expected, there has been no action from the same lady who had reached out to me earlier. What I have gathered from all this is: 1. Times OOH holds no respect for its employees or for its prospects 2. There is no decency to inform the candidates in case they aren’t pursuing them. They rather prefer to go incognito. 3. They shoot out job openings to candidates without even giving some thought to it. I am glad that I am not a part of this kind of organization because dealing with HR would take up half the effort which I would have rather put into my work.
