O processo levou 3 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Tipalti.
Entrevista
Was contacted by a recruiter for this position. Did a phone screen, phone interview, on-site and phone interview with the ceo.phone screen is standard, phone interview is nothing difficult either standard background questions, on-site was with hiring manager two members in the sept and an executive.
Final phone interview felt more like a phone interview than a final phone interview.
Then they check your references.
Then get you on a call with the ceo.
The ceo questions were standard phone interview questions but it felt like he had already made his decision before he called.
They get back to me so I reached out to the recruiter who said they weren’t interested.
I find it odd that they rejected someone after checking references because normally it happens before that point. I’m extremely annoyed that they wasted so much of my time only to reject me for reasons that should have been filtered out in the phone interview stage. Especially since this issue was already covered by the hiring manager.
My impression is that this company has a very disorganized hr process. I’ve been contacted by at least 5 different recruiters for this position. Three of them after I was rejected for the position.
I also get the impression the ceo calls all the shots down to a micro managing level. If you interview with this company don’t be surprised if you get led on only to be rejected for an arbitrary reason.
I don’t mind giving references but they essentially wasted my references time (they’re busy people) when they could have rejected me much earlier and not gone through the hassle of going through the motions.

Entrevista
I went through the interview process for a second time years later from the first try. They invited me for an on site interview to speak with the hiring manager. I reluctantly agreed to it. I had to spend my day off from work to drive over 6 hours to conduct a 30 minute interview that could have been accomplished virtually or by a simple phone call. Mind you the cost of gas, tolls, etc. that goes into that and is not reimbursed. I was then declined the job a day later. The process felt rushed and they seemed uninterested when I answered questions. Yes, there is also a homework assignment given before meeting with the hiring manager asking for details about how your background relates to the job. The final stage is a mock presentation to demonstrate presenting skills.
Prepare to be mentally exhausted from their interview process. Screening with recruiter, take home assignment with like 10 questions, interview with mangers, interview with VP, and a presentation. I usually do not interview with companies that have their candidates invest this much time and not worth it.
Even though I was not actively looking for a job, recruiter convinced me, that it was really good opportunity worth trying. I have passed several interviews easily, they promised that one last round was remaining, gave me a good feedback and an assignment to prepare. I prepared assignment and surprise, exactly 2 hours before I had to present my work, they texted me that position is on hold and they are sorry to waste my time. Their products are really good, but company reputation as a prospective employer is definitely pure.
