First call was with recruiter and she forwarded me to the district manager a few days later after creating an elevator pitch based on the links I was sent from recruiter to learn about the company. Interview with district manager went well also and she had little feedback on my pitch. After my interviews I sent an email thanking the district manager for their time and no response. What rubbed me the wrong way about the process was I applied 3 times and the first 2, I was denied immediately with a email. I received an email from the recruiter today stating they are moving forward with other candidates. When I went to their website, it shows they reopened the position again. That would be the 4th time in 2 months that they have reopened the position. It seems as they though they are expecting perfection or the ‘challenger’ as they call it. It makes me wonder how this company even has the number of employees they have with their strict Harvard-like acceptance. I should have read the feedback on here to start off with to see that Toast seems to be a company that expects a certain type of person, leading to be discrimination. I was also told several times over my interview ‘This isn’t an entry level position.’ People like myself that have over 8 years of sales experience shouldn’t be belittled to this extent. In my professional career, I’ve never felt as I do now and it’s so unfortunate how Toast does nothing about it after not only my review but the other on this platform. They are not on a roll and knead to get it together (pun intended).
