You get an e-mail where they will ask you about why you want to come to Japan, why would you like to work at the company, you'll get to do a test if you pass you'll get an offer.

Was actually given a job via email before even having an interview. Had to complete and animation test in Maya to get the job. This was done remotely, but could have been done in-house. Very quick email response and took less than a day from first emailing inquiring about a job to being offered to start within the month.
