Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Topaz Labs em out. de 2023
Entrevista
Eric Yang was rude and wasted my time.
One of his recruiters reached out to me about this opportunity and set the interview up with Eric. Eric seemed to have a problem with me from the start. He didn't spend any time asking me about my technical experience, my product experience, my photography experience, how I work, or what I value professionally. Instead he obsessed over an app and website related to a product I had worked on more than 4 years prior at a company I was no longer with. Initially I thought it might be ok, I could still talk about what I did and why, but Eric was hyper focused on the current state of the tool, a tool I made very clear I no longer managed. He seemed apathetic and intent on making the interview go poorly.
Eric also made it clear that, despite the title of the job position, he was only looking for someone to go interview users for him and that he intended to continue to manage the backlog, the roadmap, etc. He was unable to answer any of my questions about Topaz Labs, from what does success look like for your company to what career growth/development opportunities exist.
It was clear the he had no idea what he wanted and that he was not aligned with his recruiter. I reached out to the recruiter and suggested that the role Eric was actually looking to hire for was a UX Researcher and not a Product Manager.

Phone interview case and then 4 rounds with
Director of Product

A good experience, mostly behavioral and asking about my experience but the Product had a case study and surprisingly the AI piece was rough brain teasers. Unfortunately I was a nervous wreck and didn't get the role but thats okay.
