I applied online on a Friday and was contacted by a recruiter the following Monday or Tuesday. During our scheduled phone screen, the recruiter joined the call late and seemed rushed throughout the conversation. It felt like the questions were being asked quickly without much interest in the responses.
After I spent several minutes explaining my background and experience, she asked whether I had 150 credits. A bachelor's degree typically consists of 120 credits, and in Colorado you do not need 150 credits to sit for the CPA exam. I found it surprising that this was not clearly understood during the conversation.
At the end of the call, she said she would pass my resume along to the hiring manager and that I would hear back either way. After a week without an update, I followed up by email but never received a response.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, especially given the expectations associated with a large company.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 semana. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Topel Forman (Chicago, IL).
Entrevista
Interview was laidback. We talked about a few things. They go to know me a little, I got to know them a little, which is the whole point. So overall, good interview.
