An english test, then a math test, followed by a case and then a live project. The project is particularly heavy and takes at least 20-30 hours of work before a skype call. I was asked to put together a presentation + excel file with two valuations. The impression on the recruiting process is negative because interviewers seem quite inexperienced and the live project is more of a math exercise than something that resembles real life situations. At the moment I do not think that Toptal has a lot of finance projects especially outside the US so I would not recommend an adviser outside the US to go through this lengthy process to get questionable benefits. Maybe in a couple of years...
