I was so excited to apply for this position because it has been a passion of mine for many years, unfortunately the interview process was a really negative experience, where I actually got up and walked out half way through. My interview was with an HR representative, she wouldn't even look at me or even really acknowledge me. She looked at my application and begin to point out all the things she believed was wrong with it, which was very confusing considering the receptionist had directed me how to fill out the application. I then asked to borrow a pen so I could correct the things she requested me to fix and she scoffed and said you should really start carrying pens around. She started making remarks like "wow people really don't know how to fill out applications these days, have you EVER filled out an application before?!?" She also said my letter of recommendation wasn't valid and that anybody could have written this. After being treated poorly, I decided that if an hr employee was this comfortable acting this vile in an interview process, this would not be a company I would want to associate myself with. I let her know I was no longer interested in applying for this position and then she started to panic and was begging me to sit down.
