The overall hiring process was extremely unethical and sadly does not reflect the values of the Tory Burch Foundation. In order to move forward with the interview process from the initial meeting with talent acquisition, a project and presenting my work was the next step. After completing this longwinded assignment (basically free work), I submitted it to talent acquisition and gave my availability for when I could present my project. Instead of scheduling a time to meet with the hiring manager to go through my project, she said she submitted my project to the hiring manager for feedback.. Well weeks went by and no feedback was given. I followed up many times and the response was I’m waiting to hear on next steps from the hiring manager. I finally just followed up on my end over a month later to find out they decided not to follow through with my candidacy. Reasons to not interview with Tory Burch 1. The company does not follow through on their word which is unprofessional. 2. They will waste your time immensely by commissioning you to complete a project for free. 3. They did not have the courtesy to give feedback or to let me know first that they went with another candidate. I really expected more from a great brand.
