Entrevista
Round one was a screening. The recruiter was very rude and wouldn't answer any of the questions I asked other than telling me to ask the hiring manager. They also demanded that I give a salary range but refused to share the budget for the role. Round two was with the hiring manager. They were nice enough but I got the impression they were exhausted with their job. I did at least manage to get a budget number for the salary in this call. Round three was a panel with several managers. Round four was with the manager of the hiring manager. In total it took about four weeks to get through the process. Most of the questions were around my general background and projects. The recruiter also kept cold calling me to schedule interviews instead of emailing me, even after I asked them to use email. When I eventually got an offer it was at the very bottom of the budgeted range in spite of me meeting all of the job criteria and then some and having well over the desired years of experience. The recruiter also insisted I needed to go ahead and put in my notice right away even though they had only given me a verbal offer. I told them I would need a written offer before quitting my current job and also asked for a reasonable increase in the salary in line with the budget. The recruiter said they would get back to me. A week later I hadn't heard anything so I emailed them and got no reply. Another week went by and on the day they had originally pushed for my start date I emailed again, copying the hiring manager. The recruiter responded stating that the company decided to go with another candidate. When I replied back asking if they were ever planning to tell me they ignored me. If you do get an offer here and decide to accept, be absolutely sure they won't try to pull a fast one on you before telling your current job. Thankfully I waited otherwise I would have been in a big mess.
