I was interviewed by the store manager and it was basically a job offer with a couple of cursory wine/spirits questions thrown in. Total Wine does a background check and 10-panel drug screen on every applicant. The drug test looks for the usual cocaine, amphetamines and THC, but it will also find benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium) and any anti-depressant. I was told that I would be getting a credit check as part of the screening process since I was being hired as a wine associate, but I never saw any evidence of this on my credit reports and I don't think it actually happened.

It was a simple process. Asked questions about past experience. After the interview, offer was received shortly after and had to sign some paperwork. Overall the interview process was straightforward.
