I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Total Balikpapan in 2012. Panel interview with (3) managers. Very direct, cut to the chase interview session that lasted 60 minutes. Managers made their decision within the first 5 minutes. Hiring decision was communicated the next day.

Entrevista
A short phone interview for some basic information about expected salary, mobilization, international experience, etc. Second interview was online with the HR. Interviewer was friendly and questions were classic. Final interview was the technical interview.

Interviewer/team lead presented plots and asked for interpretation. Plots were for phase diagram, effective and relative perm, capillary pressure, PTA, P/Z and nodal analysis. He also showed a structure map (with producers, injectors and a fault) and a plot of prod. vs pressure and asked for analysis.

Rapide, moins d'un mois. Entretien technique, suivi d'un entretien RH. Poste à pourvoir pour un junior, pour en suite être dispatché à l'étranger. C'était relativement facile, surtout s'il n'y a pas d'attachement ou de problème pour voyager
