      Candidatura

Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa TreeHouse Foods (Robersonville, NC).

      Entrevista

Did have to wait long all questions were fair questions. Took walk around and through the plant. 1 on 1 and 3 management employees interviewed me one at time. All questions were average. They all told me about the position in deep details.

      Entrevista

Stay away from this company! Disregard the reviews! I fell for that trap and I am very disappointed Unprofessional conduct of the highest level! I applied online on day 1 of the job being posted, got an email on day 3 about a screening interview and had a phone interview on day 4. The phone interview was done by a Person A which was brief and very friendly. Couple of hours later I got an email confirmation of the in-person interview and it is set and I was asked to come in for an interview with person B and C. I arrive at the facility 15 minutes early and the interview starts 20 mins late. I understand as it is Tuesday 11:00 am. The interview was extremely simple. Only 6 questions were asked and 3 of them are previous work background. I answered them and there is nothing sketchy about my previous work experience. The other 2 were technical questions were questions one would normally ask an entry level lab technician. Both were answered well. 1 question was an interpersonal questions which was answered well. Person B then leaves within 10 mins as they are “busy" and have meetings. Person C basically spends the next 5 mins praising my resume and saying how well I match with the job requirements and how great my experience was. No management questions, no personality based or skills based questions are asked. They ask about my salary expectations which are a solid 5K lower than what the company is willing to offer. I asked about department structure and say that it is similar to what I have done in the past. Person C says they will contact me by the Friday (3 days after the interview) and that there will be no second interviews as the head of the plant is on vacation and so is Person A. Person C even shows me the production floor and we have a nice brief chat about production numbers and I leave on a positive note. I sent a thank note to Person A (on vacation) and politely thank all 3 of them. I have email address of Person C but I chose to not to email them as they never communicated with me via email and their address was a part of the 'out-of-office' message for Person A. The job required 3-5 yrs of QA experience and I have 9. The job requires optional 2yrs experience as a Supervisor. I have 5 yrs. I have experience in every single criteria mentioned in the job requirements posting in skills, knowledge, requirements, abilities, educational requirements and certifications. I have also worked for 2 of the largest food manufacturers in the world. This company is not one of them. Person B and C are clearly new to the position based on the questions that were asked. I have done hiring and firing myself and these were the most basic questions that should not be asked for a Supervisory position. So I am feeling good. Friday passes by and no replies. None at all. So I assume they are busy and will contact soon. Monday passes by and still nothing. Then on Tuesday I call the number I had from the day of the phone interview and leave a brief msg to Person A to send me some update and apologize to disturb them on their vacation. Heard nothing, no emails. The same day I email Person C and send a follow up note also mentioned how I had their email from the out-of-office msg from Person A's email and ask for any updates on the recruitment process and I get no replies. The company is basically ghosting me. I have had zero communication from them at all after the face-to-face interview. I assume I did not make the cut. But I would like that my time be valued as I valued theirs. I also expect some communication from them as their interview went well on their terms and they said they would contact me! Ghosting a candidate is unprofessional! Now the job is open. Somethings tells me they had a candidate and lost them quickly. A company that doesn't value its potential candidate professionally or treat people with respect doesn't deserve good candidates or respect.
