Reasonable amount of steps, but did not respect the salary I communicated with them at the beginning of the interview process. Unwilling to negotiate their offer and also makes you clone their entire open-source repo just for an interview assessment. Overall a pretty big waste of time, they will most likely lowball your offer at the bottom of the range despite what you communicate to them. A little sad since the company's mission and software is pretty cool, kind of ruined their rep for me though. They also try to persuade you with things in your offer like "We reward merit here", after speaking with current employees, this seems to be a way to get you to accept less than you want to. Overall disappointed by the process, and hope they can improve it in the future
