One of the most pleasant and professional interviews I've had, definitely encouraged me to apply for another opening if there's something of interest. I applied online and was contacted by the recruiter. Had a 30 minute call about the role and my qualifications, salary requirements, benefits - very professional and informative. A few hours later I was contacted to interview with 3 managers - all friendly, talked about their jobs, and asked interesting follow up questions along with some standard behavioral/technical ones. I interviewed with the hiring manager and her deputy a week later - mostly behavioral questions and they both gave specific context about how the questions they asked were relevant to the role - which doesn't seem to happen often and definitely a positive. By the end of the interview I actually had a solid understanding of the job which isn't always the case.
I heard from the recruiter that I wouldn't be getting an offer around the same time that the hiring manager said she expected to make a decision - very much appreciated getting a thoughtful and timely email instead of a automatic "no" weeks later, which seems to be the norm. Overall this was a really impressive interview process from beginning to end.
