First chat with HR. Then formal interview at the Trump Hotel Chicago. It’s clear that they aren’t looking for any African Americans to fill any management positions and you will just be used to say that they interviewed you. Security got my name wrong at the desk to receive a visitor pass. The department manager never bothered to show up. The Rooms Operation manager then asked one question then stated that they had a “very diverse staff at the hotel” which didn’t even pertain to the subject of the interview, and that concluded the interview . I should have known when throughout the entire process they kept boasting about how diverse their staff was when I never even inquired about it. The whole process was a waste of time and I’m currently considering possible legal remedies.

Interviewed a couple of times but was not offered position. Very professional environment and I thought they handled the process very well and made me feel comfortable. I think other candidates were more qualified.,
