I had a Zoom screening with a recruiter within a week of applying for the position, and then there was no more communication--not even in response to my email thanking the recruiter for her time and asking about next steps-- for 5 weeks, at which point I was invited to a Zoom interview. The gentleman I interviewed with was quite amicable, it was a nice conversation, and he invited me to follow up to his email if I had further questions (and I did send him a follow up a few weeks later) -- and then there was zero follow up from the company after that time. I never received a rejection email, a note about next steps, or a response to either of the personal emails I'd sent to the folks who interviewed with me.
