I recently went through the interview process at Tudi Mechanical Systems and wanted to share some thoughts for fellow professionals exploring opportunities there. The process was structured with five clear stages—from application to welcome—but the actual execution left much to be desired. After an initial 5-minute phone screening, I completed four separate assessment tests, totaling around 2.5 hours. Communication was handled almost entirely by text, and I was eventually asked to complete a recorded video interview with no live interaction. I was told I’d be meeting the team next, but that meeting was canceled and never rescheduled. Instead, I received another set of assessments. After completing everything, I heard nothing further until a standard rejection email. During this time, I reached out to several contacts across the general contracting, healthcare, school system, and government sectors. The feedback I got was mixed—some appreciated the company’s service, while others mentioned inconsistencies and concerns about professionalism and follow-through. While I appreciate the closure and the professional tone of the final message, the overall process felt impersonal, time-consuming, and inconsistent with the company’s message of being a "family." Candidates deserve communication, transparency, and mutual respect—especially after investing significant time and effort. I hope sharing this helps others manage expectations if they decide to apply.
