The process was pretty smooth and straightforward. The position is ideal for someone who is interested in learning and explaining different economic concepts to students. A good background in economics is helpful.

CS170 teaching assistant, there is no interview process. The online form has to be submitted in the previous semester. Has to answer why your experience fit the role, and select relevant courses you have taken.
Applied online through a portal. Fill out which course you prefer to TA for. The form also asks you to fill out your availability and grade for the class. I would recommend speaking with current TA that you are interested in the role.
