This has been an odd experience riddled with red flags. First there was a technical test taken online, which is pretty standard. However, the last 2 steps are a pass-fail type of coding exercise. You have 1.5 hours to complete the whole thing. I took 30 minutes, and distinctly remember getting a 100% pass on the last (coding exercise) questions (otherwise I would have pounded away until I got it to 100%). Then, at the interview, I was told I did not pass that test. I most certainly did (one was a SQL problem, one was a unit testing problem) Weird, but whatever. So, I show up at the in-person interview 5 minutes early, and the door is locked. I knock. Nothing. I decide to wait. I knock at the exact time Im supposed to be there. Nothing. I wait. 10 minutes later, the door opens and I meet the interviewer. So, the interviewer was 10 mins late with the interview. Ok, maybe theyre just that busy. So the interview goes very well, I most certainly have the skills they need and would be a really good fit. A final technical interview with the lead dev is scheduled for the following week. Cool. The day that interview (a call) is supposed to happen.... nothing. No calls, no emails. So I wait till the next day. Again, nothing, so I email them around 4PM that day. The next day, nothing still. No calls, no emails, no reply to my email. Im wondering if the interviewer died or something. I call. I get an answering machine. Great way to run a company guys. The negative reviews for this place are probably legit. They have no idea what theyre doing.
