Thorough process with several rounds of interviews, too many in my opinion. However, a very friendly and accommodating interview with technical, and social questions. We had an interview with a few members of the team at first and then moved onto a few rounds of collaborative work.

Shortly after applying, I received an e-mail to schedule a screening with Talent Acquisitions. From there, a 1:1 with the Hiring Manager, and three more interviews with the rest of the members on the team. The interview process was the best I've experienced. Everyone I spoke to was professional, friendly, and communicative, and I was treated with respect every step of the way. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Process consisted of an initial phone screen for the position. Although it was a remote position, they asked me if I could work west coast hours. I said that was okay. After the phone screen, I had another interview with the CEO's chief of staff and VP, HR. This was a group interview, which went well. Unfortunately, it did take 9 days to schedule. The same day as the group interview, they sent assignment to test general email capabilities, very basic mail merge, etc. Then I had to meet with the CEO's friend / advisor. He was nice, but direct about the CEO's tendencies, etc. After this, I met with the CEO twice. He showed up 10+ minutes late to both meetings. Both conversations went well, and the CEO asked me to introduce him to my former boss and have a reference call. I set up the introduction and they scheduled time to meet. 6 hours before they were scheduled to meet, I got a HRIS-generated, generic email stating I was the "silver medalist" and someone accepted an offer they had extended. I them asked why the meeting with my reference was still scheduled, and the recruiter said "they would prefer the call continue." It was both humiliating and embarrassing to be rejected from the role that late in the process, with the expectation that they could still speak with my reference. I recommended my reference cancel the call with the CEO, since Turntide did not want to respect his time given they'd already rejected me. Ultimately, they told me being on the East Coast (despite being willing and excited to work west coast hours) was an issue. Again, not sure why they waited that long in the process, if that was an issue.
