Candidatei-me pessoalmente. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center (Riverside, CA) em jan. de 2009
Entrevista
After applying, I had a phone interview. The interview took about 30 minutes. The questions asked are pretty " stock" for child care and are a part of a rating system that tells them if you are a HQC (Highly Qualified Candidate). If you don't score in the area of Assistant Director, they may offer you a lead teacher position or other position.
Then I had an in person interview with the Center Director for the school I applied at and finally an informal interview with the Regional Director. I brought a portfolio with me which was well received.

They will want to know your experience, how you think children learn, what ages you can and cannot work with.

Entrevista
Took months to receive a call for an interview, interview process with the director was not like a common interview. She mostly just spoke about the job itself and didn't ask any questions on credentials and then showed me around the school. The interviewer (director of the school) eft several times during the "interview" to answer phones or speak with staff. Left the interview really questioning if this was a professional environment. I had follow up interviews with the regional and district managers which ultimately helped me feel like this could be a good fit. I wish I listened to my gut and never took the job however as the regional and district managers are an extremely small part of the job.
