Submitted resume on LinkedIn; received an invitation to take a HackerRank test; phone screen about 2 weeks later; requested for an onsite since I knew I would be around the area; I was invited to lunch and they arranged for me to meet 4 engineers including the hiring manager and and toured their facility, capped of by an quick chat with HR. Received decision in about a week. It was a very good experience. the HR and the engineers are personable and willing to work with your needs. I was treated with respect throughout the process. Technical questions asked were relevant to my background and what's needed for the job. Seemed like a very lively office, and they are certainly serious about disrupting the biotech industry. Their software and hardware stack also seemed very interesting. Regretfully turned them down because I was mentally not ready to work for a startup, but was a hard decision since the offer was very competitive.
