1. A brief conversation over video-chat regarding my experience, the position requirements etc. etc.
2. A "homework" assessment of technical security understanding
3. A technical interview with the security team
4 - A four-hour onsite interview with a. security team, b. CTO, c. Head of IT, d. Chief people officer
The overall interview process seemed mostly rational, if not a little on the heavy side.
After the 3rd stage I was told I was not suitable for the role originally advertised, but Typeform said they would reshape the role to fit the value I could bring.
Around one week after the onsite interview I was told, without feedback, that I wouldn't be offered the position.
I understand that the role, company and myself may not have been entirely suitable - which is why each interview stage is equally necessary.
However, I was very disappointed that, despite three separate and polite follow-ups, I was not given any feedback as to why I wasn't offered the role. I feel after all the time both parties invested in the process, another five minute email to offer some feedback is more than integral and reasonable.
For this reason, I wouldn't apply for a future role at Typeform and unfortunately have a sour feeling overall about the interview process.
