Candidatei-me online. O processo levou mais de 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela U.S. Senate (Washington, DC) em dez. de 2009
Entrevista
I got a phone call about 2 weeks after submitting my resume and cover letter. There were a bunch of perfunctory questions, then a few about my commitment and skills/qualities. Finally, they asked whether I knew that the internship was unpaid, and I said yes.

Entrevista
1 interview. Discussion focused on why I wanted to work in a Senate office, experience dealing with combative people, and how I would respond to a question I didn’t know the answer to.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela U.S. Senate (Washington, DC) em ago. de 2025
Entrevista
Application included two written statements, resume, three recommendations, and a cover letter. I had one phone screening interview with operations staff. A few emails and received an offer letter 2-3 weeks after screening.
Standard questions. Why are you interested, what is your experience and education, why work for this committee. Just one staffer who was only a few years older than me, so it felt pretty relaxed.
