I got into touch w/the director and he was nice. He answered my questions about what they do to help train trainees. He referred me over to this guy. :/ He'd ghosted me before and he was a UCSF employee at the time. first, he called me, but failed to leave a message and I called him back at least twice. He was suspicious. "How did you get this number?" I told him that he called me. We had half of a first interview before he ended it because he "had to go to a meeting." He said he'd call me back. He didn't. After two weeks, I called him and he said the position has been filled. This time after the employee referral he gave me a video interview. He cancelled because "he isn't doing interviews this week," Next week, I had an interview. He said that he'd let me know if I got selected in two weeks and he said they're hiring for 10 people next month. Ghosted again! Also, ignored my well thought-out thank you notes.
