Steps includes emails,phone calls and face to face discussion by different peoples at different levels of positions in the lab. First a general background introduction is needed, then detailed questions based on your CV will be asked and the numbers of questions are depending on their satisfactions to your answers.Following this is specific technical questions concerning research experience, including how you solve problems based on your own capability. Finally is the future plan if you are hired and what requirements you have from the employer.

There was no interview required or requested for the graduate school program at this school. An application was all that was required. The application consists of a personal statement, GRE (optional), transcripts, and a fee.

They asked about a variety of stuff. Like what’s you previous research experience and how would you tackle different problems. I really liked it as the interviewers are very friendly
Applied through their application. Got an interview about a month later. It was a zoom interview with the director of the department and an associate that I would be working under.
