I was called for an interview for the position of Assistant Study/Clinical Research Coordinator. I had a Zoom interview with the doctor and the clinical research coordinator that lasted about 45 minutes. They asked me behavioral questions, inquired about how my previous manager would rate me, and discussed my past jobs.
Following the initial interview, I was invited for an in-person interview that lasted two hours, again with the same two individuals. During this interview, we had a lengthy discussion about how past team members might rate me and went through my resume in detail.
After two weeks without any communication, I reached out to inquire about the outcome. It's unfortunate to invest so much effort in the interview process only to be left without any feedback. The interviewers were pleasant, but it felt unprofessional not to keep candidates informed. Overall, it was a good experience except for that last part. I hope this helps another candidate know what to expect.
