I first applied online several times a year for about 7 years. I finally received a call from Donna in recruiting to set up a phone interview for the next day. After the phone interview a in person interview was set up with Linda the district manager. I was told I would receive a call about their decision instead I received a generic email stating that they went with another candidate.
I would of had a positive interview experience if I received a phone call over an auto generated email. I would of liked to know how I could of done better or what I was missing to not get an offer for this position.

Do you have experience setting up a annual budget?

When a candidate is interviewed in person and not selected our process is to call that person and let them know over the phone. Proposed job on-line; responded same day.
Initial screening interview that last about 25 min, quizzed on marketing, financial, occupancy, employee relations and why I was looking for other employment.It would have been good if he stated exactly what they were looking for upfront. He made it point to say he wanted all his interviewees to know the NOI from '07 &'08-memorized. The manner in which he spoke seemed to be as though he was skeptical on the information in the resume. He lead the conversation and in the end he described what he was looking for and although he had the resume with him, he saw that I may not be the exact fit, but this was not expressed until the end of the conversation. He went on to say how he had tried to push through a few other potential candidates but they did not qualify although he thought so.
