Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela UMW Toyota em abr. de 2026
Entrevista
My overall impression of the interview process was not very positive. Although the role was stated as open to fresh graduates, I felt that the expectations during the interview did not reflect that. Throughout the session, I was made to feel as though my level of experience was insufficient and mind you I have 1 year of work experience.
During the interview, the panel asked whether I would consider moving back into an engineering role given my background. I explained that I am currently looking at long term career growth in an office based environment, although I remain open to occasional site exposure and applying my engineering knowledge where relevant. However after sharing this, I sensed a noticeable shift in the panel’s attitude and the tone of the interview. Many of the subsequent questions felt belittling. Some questions came across as somewhat condescending. There were remarks comparing the scope of their responsibilities to my current role which gave the impression that my experience was being minimized. While I understand that roles can differ but I believe interviews should remain respectful and focused on assessing potential rather than making candidates feel undervalued. I do understand that I might have given bad impression by stating that I'm not interested in pursuing engineering role but the remarks were unnecessary.
None of the panel members, including HR, had their cameras on during the interview. From a candidate’s perspective, this came across as lacking professionalism and basic courtesy especially considering the company’s reputation for strong work culture.
