first interview was a ~30 minute long zoom call with the PI where she asked standard questions about my work experience. I was surprised that she asked me a few math-related questions that related to making solutions and other lab-related tasks. the next round was a full day of in-person meetings with people from the lab as well as other labs within the department.

Easy, conducted on zoom with the manager and PI. Visited on site for a second interview and met the team, toured the facility. I was in contact with the hiring manager and administration throughout the whole hiring process.
