1. Apply online through Army Online Career Center / Make sure you understand the electronic resume acceptance process to a T. If you can't get through this system then you will not even be contacted from HR. 2. If you are a veteran make sure you apply with the veterans office on island this will increase your chances to get a government job. Job hunters can directly pull your resume from the database because of this. 3. Was called in for a interview and had to follow govermental security protocol before entering the island, make sure you know the layout, building number, office number of where you need to be. 4. Interview was of knowledge, skills, education, personality, previous experiences, etc, etc. I made sure I researched the position and the organization as much as possible before entering the interview. 5. Followed up with a letter asking about possible decision made on the job which was answered postively.
