initially you must take the asfab exam. depending on your score , you will choose the job u want to do within the organization. next step is the physical exam. they want to make sure that you don't have any disease that will prevent you to perform well. they will run a background check on you also

Medical review and questions about drugs and health problems. Weight/height, urinalysis, duck walk to check motor skills. Various paperwork, to include checking ASVAB score and bonus to determine appropriate position.

Entrevista
Talked to a recruiter after I left college. He offered a bunch of different jobs and referred me to take the ASVAB. Took the test, a week later he informed me of all the jobs I qualified for. Took a physical ability test (run, pushups, situps), did a background check, conducted a full-blown physical and drug test, and then I was good to go.
