The interview started off with polite small talk, and then transitioned into the questions and answers portion. After starting with the usual list of behavioral questions (none stood out as unique or noteworthy), the Special Agent conducting the interview began to ask questions to see if I had done my homework regarding my specific agency. The questions were about the year of founding, the name of the current director, and typical case focus for SA's. However, what made the interview a negative experience were the last types of questions that were presented. These were not typical interview questions, but were ones that were asked to seemingly see if I was too "soft" for the culture. How long can you actually stand on your feet at a time? How little sleep do you need? The issue was that every answer I would give, he would give a response of how that is not enough or I need to be harder. The questions were not difficult per se, but were challenging in that my responses were never good enough.
