Entrevista
Applied June 2025, was emailed a couple weeks later to schedule the phone interview.
Had said phone interview 7/14.
The recruiter(unsolicited) stated I did real well and let me know he will be proceeding with the next step and kind of fumbled and gave me a couple of different days that I could hear back on the scheduling.
He first said “Wednesday” then “later this week,” then said “if you don’t hear anything beginning of the following week follow up with me”
Perhaps nerves or he’s a poor speaker under pressure? Not too sure.
Then didn’t hear for a couple of weeks and thought I was no longer in the running.
Then randomly received a call stating they will be scheduling interviews and we agreed to 8/29. I then proceeded with said interview. The hiring manager stated they will be making decisions in 2-3 weeks.
Followed up with recruiter and manager on 9/18 to reaffirm my interest then received response from recruiter on 9/19 stating I am still very much in consideration for this position. They will let everyone know when a decision is made.
I followed up on 10/6 to inquire on the decision and again reaffirm interest and was then contacted via phone the next day and the recruiter stated there was a budget cut and they had to close the position and he mistakenly thought he sent me the email letting me know but again stated I did well and I was the candidate they were going to choose.
In summary it was a very odd and lengthy process and resulted in me no longer wanting to work for you.
Thank you for the experience though. Gotta clean some things up over there folks.

How would you manage an already existing team as a newcomer?

Entrevista
I interviewed with USAble Life in spring 2025 and was genuinely impressed. What stood out most was how authentic and people-focused the entire experience felt. My recruiter Rebecca was outstanding; she maintained excellent communication throughout, providing clear timelines and regular updates. I never felt left in the dark about next steps, which is rare in today's market.
The interview structure consisted of an initial screening followed by three rounds. What made this process special was how conversational each interview felt. Rather than the typical rapid-fire questioning designed to catch you off guard, the interviewers genuinely seemed curious about my background, experiences, and perspectives.
I could tell the interviewers focused on understanding whether there was a mutual fit rather than simply trying to eliminate candidates. The conversations felt genuine and gave me sneak peak into what working there would actually be like. I ultimately received an offer and accepted the position. Now that I've been with the company for a few months, I can say that I am very happy that I joined.

I could tell soon as the interview started the panel wasn’t interested at all, also during my opportunity to ask them questions I was interrupted and asked some more questions by someone who didn’t have anything to say the entire interview. I knew I wasn’t the choice soon as they said they still had more people to interview for an opening that’s been up since July.
