Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Uline em ago. de 2011
Entrevista
Received the interview through a recruiter. Phone screen was set up with their HR manager and I was sent some assessments to fill out. The assessments focused on personality, the "Uline" writing style, and sales. I have no experience with retail sales and was not applying for that type of position. It took three hours to complete and review all of the assessments (which seemed ridiculous for a phone screen). The company culture at Uline seems to focus on maintaining the status quo (don't come in trying to change things was the perception I got).

I think they had made up their mind prior to interviewing me since i was interviewed by a warehouse employee and it certainly looked and felt like he was just doing this since they had called me in for an interview

there was more of him talking about Uline than me answering questions, but one of them was " why do you like to work for Uline ?"

The HR representative was very polite. The interview was well structured. Everything was well programmed and sent by e-mail. Before the interview you have to do a personality test and a sales test on line.

Met with a recruiter, arrived early as requested to complete the "tests". Apparently a new employee was starting and I guess the recruiter handled the new hires as well? In any event she was 45 minutes late in interviewing me, and the new associate was long gone already. She sat in the receptionists office for quite a while chatting with people, I was nearing the point of leaving when I was called in. Had I known that was the person keeping me waiting so long I would most likely have left after being treated so unprofessionally. I got a generic email saying I was not selected for the position, she asked all the "touchy feely" questions, nothing serious about the position or my experience as it related to it. I felt like a total +1 in the process.
