      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Uline.

      Entrevista

A recruiter reached out to me after I applied to an open requisition in early November. The primary recruiter screen went really well. She moved me through to the next step with a regional director and the person who would be my direct manager. That interview also went really well. I was super excited about the prospect of next steps. They flew me out to their corporate headquarters, paid for my stay, I went out in the field with a current territory account manager, and then went back to meet with an operations manager and person from HR in person. Despite the toughness from the operations manager, I felt I handled the challenging questions well. It seemed like he was trying to poke holes in my resume. I tried not to take it personally as I felt like this was part of the process and maybe just the way he interviewed. However, all day long every other person I encountered had sung his praises and told me how down to earth he was. So I was pretty shocked when he came at guns blazing.. lol all that to say is, I didn’t think I would even get an offer. However, the next day I was called and informed by the recruiter that it was a unanimous, yes and that they just had to send my résumé up to corporate to get approved for the salary position. I guess this was basically the last step of the process. I didn’t hear back till 10 days later when the recruiter called me and informed me, I did not get selected because corporate refused to approve me due to my work history. My average tenure at jobs was over two years, and a majority of my hopping around was due to moving to different states… I was honestly flabbergasted. I took a total of 9 assessments. 2 in person that were literally timed and 7 various online. All in all, with travel, this interview process took at least 36 hours of my time all to get denied because I decided my career is more important than sticking it out at an organization for more than two years in some cases… it’s crazy that I didn’t see this coming because I have read multiple reviews on glassdoor in which a similar scenario happened. Against my better judgment, I went through with the process because I absolutely loved the regional sales director, he was fantastic, and I knew I would be well supported in the role having him as a leader. Outside of that, I am very sorry to say that all of the things you read about Uline in the articles are very true…
