I saw the UP was hiring online so I applied. Took the personality quiz, and questionnaire. I was told I was approved for an interview. That was about 25 days away. It was held at a hotel about an hour from my home. The dress is business casual (this does not mean nice jeans and a polo, please educate yourself on what business casual is). There were about 25 people also interviewing. The recruiter goes over what the UP is, does, and how the focus primary on safety among other things. They explain how this is a lifestyle and how they DO absolutely come before anything else. At this point he also said they drug test. Then we took a brief break and had the option to leave if anything about the job or drug testing wasn't something we were interested in. We talked about the company and had an opening for our questions, then were told the interview schedule. They were only 20 min long and very basic. We were then instructed to wait and they will contact us.

Recorded interview. 10-12 questions. All pretty comprehensive but over all prepared me for complicated questions in the future. I think they have employees that get furloughed so ultimately didn’t go through with the process.
