I withdrew from the process after being given a demanding, unpaid task as part of the interview. The task required extensive market research, strategic event planning, and even visual design via Canva, to be completed in just a few days, ahead of a panel interview with 13 questions. While I understand the need to assess candidates, the scope and time commitment of the task felt excessive, especially given this was an early stage with no guarantee of progression or compensation.
