The process for signing up for service in the Navy is akin to any of the other military services. A recruiter will be guiding you through the entire process. Key things to focus on: - Do your own research, and try to find a recruiter that you have personal referrals to talk to. They are highly incentivized to have you be accepted. - Put a solid amount of effort into doing really with your ASVAB scores, scores around 70+(preferably 80+ tbh) will unlock doors for much better jobs that translate in service in out of service as far as high demand skillsets go. - Try to really push for your recruiter to get a FTS contract (this is a full-time position that is technically part of the reserves). It is a hidden gem that not many will know about when going to sign up for your first full 4+ years of service. You will be assigned to a reservist command. This does have downsides (drill weekends), but the upsides vastly outweigh this IMHO. - Aviation community is probably the best community, so try to get a technical role in naval aviation.

Candidatei-me pessoalmente. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela United States Navy Reserves (West Palm Beach, FL) em dez. de 2021

Very easy compared to active duty. Especially if you are coming from active duty. There are recruiters that are dedicated to enlisted reserve and tar candidates and there is more flexibility in the reserves compared to the other two options.
